Liza Jessen

 

Liza Jessen has more than 30 years of experience from the Danish retail industry and is now the owner of her own retail consulting company, Liza Jessen Retail. Liza has worked with high end brands such as Royal Copenhagen, Gucci and Mulberry, and she has worked for some of the major Danish and international fashion brands including IC Group and Esprit de Corps.

 

Liza has worked with and had responsibility for all aspects of the retail business from sales, marketing, buying, store openings to personnel management, training, concept development and commercial development of shopping malls, where she also worked with setting up and ensuring the correct mix of retail sectors and their assortment according to the given shopping mall’s particular situation as well as development of logistical infrastructure solutions for customers and deliveries.

 

Furthermore, Liza has extensive experience with creating durable solutions for complicated projects with many stakeholders involved while at the same time conforming to time plans and economic restraints.

 

Through her many years of experience Liza has developed a broad network within the industry and a thorough knowledge of chains and actors in the Danish retail market, both in the merchandise and food & beverage sectors.

 

Liza has been responsible for the modernization of business organisations, updating and developing parking areas and the development and implementation a commercial area. Amongst other projects, Liza has been responsible for updating the commercial area for the LYNGBY STORCENTER mall north of Copenhagen, including expanding the customar areas, the staircases connecting the parking floors and the commercial area and replacing the ceiling and lighting fixtures of the entire shopping centre. As a consultant she helped STEEN & STRØM modernizing it organizational structure and helped modernizing and revitalizing the nursing goods chain SAHVA’s stores and creating a more inviting marketing concept.
